My daughter recently celebrated her 12th birthday. Where does the time go? I swear that I’m not old enough to have a 12 year old (let’s not actually talk about my age).

She is turning out to be an amazing young lady. She is thoughtful and kind. She is smart and a hard worker. She is a good student and sets goals for herself. She reaches for the stars and encourages her friends to do the same. She isn’t afraid to be a little kids sometimes and allow herself to enjoy her childhood. She cares for others and sets a good example for those around her. She wears her emotions on her sleeve. She isn’t afraid to say “I love you” to her mom in front of her friends. She isn’t afraid to ask for help and will give help when asked (sometimes even without complaining LOL). She brings a smile to those who know her. She has her dad’s adventurous side.

I’m so proud to be her mom.
